How can I put items on sale or create a discount promotion?

You can set up item discounts or storewide promotions directly from the Promotions module in Flawless POS. This allows you to create automatic discounts, set start and end dates, and apply the sale to specific items, designers, or categories. 

Steps to Create a Discount or Sale Promotion:

1. Go to the Promotions Module:

   • Navigate to Website -> Promotions.

2. Add a New Promotion:

   • Click Add New Promotion.

   • Choose the Discount Type (ex. Percentage or Fixed Amount).

   • Enter the Discount Value (ex. 10 for 10% off).

3. Set Up Filters:

   • Include Filter: Use this to target specific products, categories, designers, or types you want discounted.

   • Exclude Filter: Use this to exclude certain products or categories from the discount.

4. Define the Date Range:

   • Enter the Valid From and Valid Until dates to determine how long the sale will run.

5. Enable or Disable Codeless Promo (Optional):

   • Check Codeless Promo if you want the discount to automatically apply during checkout without requiring a promo code.

6. Save the Promotion:

   • Click Save Promos to activate your discount.

To Apply a Discount to a Single Product:

• Add a unique Category tag to the product (for example, “SummerSale”).

• In the Promotion setup, use that tag in the Inclusion Filter.

• This ensures only that specific item receives the discount.

After saving, the discounted price will automatically reflect on your website for that item. Always double-check the promotion’s active dates and filters before saving to ensure the correct products are discounted.
