Saving a draft sale is useful when you need to pause a transaction and continue later, keeping all customer and product details from the order intact. This feature allows you to organize ongoing sales and return to them when you’re ready to finalize.

Step 1: Create the sale
1. Begin by creating a new sale as you normally would.

2. Add any items you’re selling into the cart using the search bar or browsing the product list.

Step 2: Add customer information
1. The products will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
2. Select the customer for the sale — all details for the sale will saved in the draft so that everything is ready when you return to complete the transaction.

Step 3: Save the sale as a draft
Click the three-dotted menu next to the checkout button.
A list of options will appear, including Recent Sales, Restart Sale, and Load Draft Sale:

1. From the menu, select Save Draft Sale.
2. You’ll be prompted to give the draft a name. Enter any name you’d like so you can recognize it later.
3. Click OK to save the draft. Once saved, the cart will be cleared so you can continue working on other sales.
Step 4: Load the draft sale
To reopen a draft, begin a new sale and select the salesperson as usual.

1. Open the three-dotted menu again and click Load Draft Sale:

2. A list of saved drafts will appear. Find the one you want, click on it, and the sale will be reloaded into the cart with all products and customer details:

3. From there, you can proceed to complete the sale as usual.
