Shipments Module Overview

This article provides an overview of the Shipments Module, which allows you to create and manage shipments, from setting up shipment details to reviewing final shipment information.

Step 1: Access the Shipments Module

  1. Open the left navigation menu.

  2. Click on Store and then Shipping.

            

  1. Select Create Shipment to begin.

     


Step 2: Fill in Shipment Details

In the Details section:

  1. Enter the description/name for your shipment.

  2. Once completed, click Next. 


Step 3: Configure Sender’s Address

In the Ship From section:

  1. Manually enter the sender’s address or choose a saved address by selecting Ship from Location.

  2. When ready, click Next.




            Note: You may also make use of the Auto Complete Address feature. You would simply need to enter                         an address and the field would automatically create suggestions to populate the field.



Step 4: Configure Receiver’s Address

In the Ship To section:

  1. Enter the name,receiver’s address, either manually or from saved locations, Country, City, State, Zip or Postal Code, Email, and Phone Number

  2. Once filled out, click Next.Note: You may also use the Ship to Location to select an address from one of your available stores or the Use Current Store to use the details of the store in which you’re sending the shipment to.



Step 5: Set Up Packages

In the Packages section:

  1. Specify the number of packages by clicking Add Package.

  1. Choose options such as CarrierDelivery typeService type, and Packaging type.

  2. Provide weightmeasurements, and item value for each package.

  3. Once configured, click Next.

     


Step 6: Review Shipment Information

In the Review section:

  1. Double-check all details for accuracy.

  2. Once verified, click Create Shipment.




Final Steps and Additional Options

  • In the Shipments grid, view the new shipment at the top, including tracking numbers and total fees.

  • For label printing or emailing, click on the Three Dot button to the right. You can also choose to void the shipment if necessary (Note: voiding is unavailable if the shipment has already been dispatched).
