How to Pick Up a Special Order

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to pick up a Special Order using the Point of Sale (POS) module. This tutorial assumes the Special Order has already been submitted and is ready for pickup or shipment.

Step 1: Access the Special Order Pickup Menu

  1. Open the Point of Sale module by following these steps:

    • Open the left navigation menu.

    • Click on the Sale menu option.

       



Step 2: Locate the Special Order

  1. Press the Special or Pick Up Order button to open the Select menu.

  1. Look for the Special Order you need to pick up, noting that only orders marked as Ready can be picked up.

  • Note: If a Service Job is attached to the order, ensure the job is completed.



Step 3: Select Items for Pickup

  1. Once you find the order, click on it to view the order lines. For this example, we’ll be using the Item # #SL0002120 which belongs to the customer named Lequirus.

  1. In the Pick Up column, open the dropdown menu to select the quantity of items being picked up.

  1. Click OK to add the item to the Cart on the right.



Step 4: Complete the Sale

  1. Proceed with the checkout process as you would for a regular sale.

     





  1. During the Payment section, any amount paid during the creation of the Special Order will be shown as Sales Order credit. The customer only pays the remaining balance.
