How to Create a User and assign a Role

This article outlines the steps for creating a new user within the Flawless system and assigning appropriate roles. Following this procedure will help administrators streamline user management, enhance security, and tailor access based on specific job functions.

Step 1: Access the Store Module

  1. Open the Left Navigation Menu:

    • Navigate to the Store option.

    • Select Admin.

       



Step 2: Enter Admin Security Code

  • When prompted, input your admin security code to gain access. 


  • Note: The security code will be sent to the user’s email address.



Step 3: Navigate to Users Tab

  • From the Admin module page, click on the Users tab to view existing users.



Step 4: Add a New User

  1. Click the Add User Button.

  1. Fill in Required User Details:

    • A new dialogue box would pop up asking you to fill out the details of the new user that you are creating:

    • Fill out the information on the form and click OK to create the user

NOTE: You may assign the user to a commission pool instead of receiving a commission percentage.

A commission poolis a collective fund from which commissions are distributed among eligible team members based on their contributions and performance. This approach fosters collaboration and allows for a more equitable distribution of earnings within the team.



Step 5: Confirm User Addition

  • Verify that the new user appears in the user list. In this example, I created a new user named Chester.



Step 6: Assign User to a Store

  1. Click on the Stores Tab.

  2. Select the Appropriate Store (e.g., Test Store).

    • Navigate to its Users tab and click Add User.

  1. In the User Field:

    • Click the dropdown menu and select the user you wish to add (e.g., Chester for Test Store).

       



Step 7: Assign Roles

  1. Select User's Role:

    • Click the “+” icon to display available roles.


  1. Choose Desired Roles:

    • Select the desired roles from the list, or click “New Role” if the specified role is not listed.


  1. Example Role Assignment:

    • Designate “President” as the title for the new role, with “Test Role” as the description. 


  1. Save the Changes:

    • After assigning the role, you will see the adjustment reflected in the User tab.


  1. Edit or Delete User:

    • You have the option to edit or delete the current user by clicking the three-dot menu on the right side.
