How to Create a New Campaign

In this article, we’ll walk you through the process of creating a new email campaign in Flawless POS. This is a valuable tool for sending out promotions or newsletters to your customers, helping you expand your reach.

Step 1: Access the Campaign Tab

To get started, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Left Navigation Menu.

  2. Click the Communication button.

  1. Locate and enter the Campaign tab.

          

In this tab, you will see an overview of all your previous campaigns, including their titles and statistics.



Step 2: Add a New Campaign

To create a new campaign, press the Add Campaign button.


Campaign Basic Details

In this section, you need to input:

  • Title: Name your campaign.

  • Campaign Type: Choose the type of campaign.

  • Scheduled Run Option: If desired, select to schedule your campaign to run at a designated time.

Once you’re satisfied with your selections, press Next.




Step 3: Choose Your Audience

Now, you need to select the audience for your campaign:

  1. Press the Add an Audience Item button. 

  1. Choose All Customers or create a custom audience (check our other article to learn how to create a Custom Audience). 


Below are the descriptions for each of the Audience Types:

  1. All Customers - Targets all customers in the database without any specific filters.

  2. All Wholesale Customers and Accounts - Includes only wholesale customers and accounts associated with the business.

  3. All Website Subscribers - Focuses on customers who have subscribed through the website, typically for newsletters or updates.

  4. Customers that bought specific items - Filters customers who have purchased items matching certain criteria, with fields to specify Designers, Types, Categories, and Materials.
        a. 
    Designers Field - Allows selection of specific designers whose products customers have bought.

b. Types Field - Enables filtering by types of products purchased (e.g., rings,    bracelets).

c. Categories Field - Refines the audience based on product categories such as jewelry types.

d. Materials Field - Matches customers who bought items with particular  materials (e.g., gold, diamond).

  1. Custom List - Allows users to create and upload a custom list of customers via Excel/CSV and select it from the dropdown.

The system will inform you of how many users will receive the email. Once confirmed, press Next. 



Step 4: Set Up Your Email Content

In this section, you will define the subject of your email and edit its contents:

  1. Populate the Subject field.

  1. Press the Edit Email button to open the Email Builder.


Using the Email Builder

In the Email Builder, you can create your email as desired:

  • Add Products: Choose products to display as a carousel.

  • Row With Columns: Divide email content into columns for images or text.

  • Row Separator: Include a row of text as needed.

To add items, press the plus sign. For custom designs, consider using editors like Canva or Adobe.


Editing Email Fields

Click on any field with the left mouse button to open the context menu, which will show available options for editing.

Once you’re satisfied with your email content, press Done and then Save and Close.



Step 5: Monitor Your Campaign

After saving, the newly created campaign will appear at the top of the Campaign tab. Keep in mind that emails may not be sent immediately; delivery might take some time. Don’t forget to check the performance of your campaign by reviewing the Opened and Clicked columns.
